‘When in Lisbon’ | Atelier Study Trip & Rossi’s Architecture of The City

The atelier visited Lisboa for one week in October. Between the tiled facades and regular pasteis, the trip was an excellent setting for testing Aldo Rossi’s ‘Urban Artefacts’ to understand the imageability and character of the place.

Along with two group members, I presented our findings during the studio seminar, the diagram illustrates the interrelationship between Rossi’s Models, Types and Value, to which a synthesis of Lisbon was applied.
